(what not to do!)
Assignments due today:
(1) Blog post due Tuesday 28 Apr by noon [this can be one of your two weekly posts]
Now that you have been listening/reading … write a succinct but savvy summary (hah!) of one podcast and one blog that you are following. Don’t use the canned copy from the site! This assignment focuses on analytical skills as well as serves as practice for your writing your own summaries. Next – write a review of the podcast/blog: who’s the audience, how well is the audience being served? Post (one entry) to your blog.
(2) Blog post due Tuesday 28 Apr by noon – personal project
(1) Re-write the summary of your personal podcast. We will give one another feedback on these next week in class. (2) Find three good podcasts that are in your personal podcast genre and that might be competitor or complementary podcasts. Tell us about them. Why did you pick them? Link to their home site! Post (one entry) to your blog.
